As a Denver native, Marco grew up in ‘humble beginnings” with his family on the west side of Denver – surrounded by a limited but solid network of supporters who helped him stay on the right path.
Marco Campos was 7 years old when he began to learn the ropes of hard work, entrepreneurship, and ethics through his grandfather Bill, a self-employed welder.
Marco knew at an early age that he wanted to run his own company – but he was also aware that it would be his biggest challenge to start it. After working in different engineering and project management roles for eight years, he left his job at the age of 30 to start Campos EPC in his basement. It came with great risks – and the number one of them all being able to support his own family and children.
He began working from a list of previous clients, creating strategic partnerships that would help him grow organically. After some time, the business began to take off. The Campos Family of Companies is now a multi-national leader in energy.

Marco Campos is the Founder and Chief Executive of Campos Companies and its subsidiaries. He has 20+ years of experience working in a variety of engineering, operations, and consulting capacities.
He enjoys philanthropy, particularly in support of women and under-represented minorities pursuing STEM related fields. He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a licensed Civil Engineer.
He has four children and a Boxer (Larry) that comes to work with him every day. Marco enjoys bringing an entrepreneurial culture to the business and he is always seeking the next venture. Building business and aligning employees/ individuals to the success they bring is his specialty.
Robert Sawaya is the Chief Operating Officer at Campos Companies with a focus on Integrity Management and Pipeline Design. He has worked for Campos for over 10 years and has over 17 years of experience in the oil and gas pipeline industry working for both engineering firms and operating.
Robert earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Economics and Business as well as his Master of Science degree in Engineering and Technology Management from the Colorado School of Mines. He is also a Certified PMP.
His hobbies include playing basketball and spending time with his wife and three kids.
Ruth Ann is a full-spectrum finance professional with over 20 years of CFO experience. She is also a CPA.
Ruth Ann’s background covers a broad range of industries from public accounting to heavy industries relevant to Campos, such as oil/gas, mining, solar, and clean energy as well as emerging technologies as they erupt markets.
Further, Ruth Ann is experienced in banking/financial services, risk management, and business best practices.
Most recently, she served as CFO at a Denver SAAS software company, as they transitioned from private to the public markets.
Mike Venturini is an accomplished executive with over 30 years of experience in multiple business segments including energy, retail, manufacturing, staffing, and financial services.
His career includes managing Human Resources, IT, Accounting and Operations. Throughout his career he has focused on building teams that provide outstanding service to both internal and external customers.
Mike earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Rutgers University. His interests include mountain biking, reading, and traveling with family and friends.
Holly Davies is General Counsel at Campos Companies. Prior to joining Campos, she was in private practice with a focus on construction litigation and contract negotiation and managed offices in Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico.
Holly serves on the Board of Directors for Women in Construction -West Coast Conference and the Arizona State Bar – Advisory Committee for Construction Defect Specialization and is a past President of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel.
She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Communications and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona College of Law.
Holly also leads our Women’s group at Campos – Campos Connect.
